Melksham's Community Area Partnership is set up as part of the statutory requirement on the Wiltshire Unitary Authority to work (Area boards) and consult (Community Area Partnerhips) locally.  It's very new, having met with its initial committee for the first time just a few days before Christmas

On 23rd January - at very short notice - it will be holding "Open House" in the Town Hall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. looking primarily at the future of Melksham and of Wiltshire over the next 20 years, to feed inputs back into the core stratgy consultation.

The CAP's web site will be at:

An excellent event ... and there's a chance to add to what was said online ... your views are being sought - "this week only" ...

Take Survey here

I am on the steering group of this partnership ... and I'm happy to answer questions on the survey.   The "CAP" is very new and the survey IS rushed, but inputs are needed to set the scene for coming years.

Many thanks for inputs ... survey completed today and I'll let you know as and when I get a summary of the results
