Emma Joy, Gardens of Joy
"beautiful gardens don't cost the earth"
A bicycle-driven, hand-powered, garden maintenance and organic kitchen garden service that is better for you and your garden. What I have found is that by working with people to meet their individual needs I can help anyone to have a garden to enjoy and a deliciously nutritious vegetables to eat - not matter how much space or time you have available.
Gardens of Joy is based in Melksham in the county of Wiltshire, and extends out to the villages of Atworth, Beanacre, Berryfield, Bowerhill, Broughton Gifford, Lacock, Shaw and Whitley.
Better Value
Gardens of Joy does not use petrol or electrically powered gardens tools, which means that when you pay for a gardening service you are paying for the gardener. You are not paying for vehicle insurance, servicing of power tools and risings costs of diesel, petrol and electricity.
Better Quality
Power tools such as hedge trimmers and strimmers will often "rip" rather than "cut" grass and plants. By making a cleaner cut, hand tools reduce the risk of infection for the plant, and gives you a high quality finish.
Local
Using a service that travels by bicycle and uses local products means that you are supporting the local economy and reducing your impact on the environment.
Personal
The suite of plans from Gardens of Joy offer you a flexible way to help you to have and enjoy the beautiful garden and fresh, organic fruit and vegetables that you deserve.

Tony Balecke, Appleton Games
.
We are board game designers and producers with lots of exciting new ideas. Our games use a unique system called 'The Appleton Way', in many eyes a remarkable new way of playing board games, that gives everyone a very good chance of winning. Whether you are trailing at the back or feel like you are on the verge of losing, there is always a chance the underdog could come back and win!!
Education and family values
are high on our agenda
Our unique rules promote fair play on a level playing
field for everyone who participates. ,br>
We have been greatly influenced and encouraged in particular
by two well respected and knowledgable members of
the board game world - William Maclean & Mary Couzin.
Mary Couzin founded the Chicago International Toy and
Game Fair and has been a constant source of support.
The Appleton Way of play is the ideal game play that is family orientated and structured to give everyone a sporting
chance of success.
